# Adding borders and rounded corners to elements

Adding a border (also called a stroke) can help highlight important elements, separate them from the background, or bring balance to your design. Use borders to draw attention to images, text, or logos and create a more structured layout.

You can apply borders to most elements, including images, videos, and frames. However, borders are not currently supported on some items, such as:

- Text boxes
- Shadows
- Flipped shapes
- Some editable shape types

You can also **round the corners** of your borders to soften the design and match your visual style.

Easily add and edit borders and corners to any image and video.

## Instructions
1. Click the image, video, frame, or shape you want to edit.
2. From the editor toolbar, select **Stroke style**.
3. Choose a **Stroke Style** from the options.
4. Drag the stroke weight slider or enter a value to adjust thickness.
5. To change the color, select the **Stroke Color** tile.
6. To round the corners, select **Corner rounding**, then adjust the radius using the slider or input field.
